About me
Lisa Ammirati, she/her
Lisa earned her undergrad degree in Chemistry from Haverford College, then spent three years teaching Chemistry as a New York City Teaching Fellow while earning her MA in Science Education from City College NY. She briefly left the high school classroom to earn a MA in Philosophy of Science from UC San Diego, but has spent the past 13 years teaching Chemistry and AP Chemistry in Quaker Schools. She enjoys Philly sports and spending time with her two young kids. Alongside her husband, she has visited 25 of the current 30 MLB stadiums, all via roadtrip!
