Polly Duke serves as Co-Clerk of Westbury Monthly Meeting on Long Island, Assistant Clerk of Westbury Friends School's Board of Managers, member of Friends Seminary's Board of Trustees, member of Friends Council on Education's Board of Trustees, Co-Coordinator of New York Yearly Meeting's Junior Yearly Meeting, member of NYYM's Ministry & Counsel Coordinating Committee, and member of NYYM's Sessions Committee. She has taught French, Comparative Literature, and Quakerism at Friends Academy for 25 years. She previously taught at Columbia University and Phillips Academy. She has been married for 38 years to Ben Duke and has two adult sons, William and Peter.
