About me
Whittney Preston, she/her
Whittney Preston Ed.D. has over 10 years of experience as an educator and administrator. She began her career as a Spanish teacher for lower, middle, and upper school students at Heritage Hall School in Oklahoma City, Okla. During this time, she developed a passion for diversity and inclusion work and transitioned to the role of Associate Director of Diversity and Inclusion.
As the first Dean of Inclusive Excellence at Foxcroft School, Whittney played a pivotal role in shaping the position. She has created a community of belonging for faculty through recruiting, onboarding, mentoring, and support; led professional development opportunities, and planned school-wide programs.
She has served as the Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at the Friends School of Baltimore over the last two years. She is excited to be transitioning to be their Assistant Head of School on July 1, 2026.
